Good Day Members ,
Well , that was a hot day on the Range in NS. Day 2 completed , only one more day to go and that will conclude the Canadian Nationals . We have met a lot of great competitors at this competition and we are looking forward to the group banquet tomorrow night . We will update you with more pictures as we go.
Thanks , John
What a day !
It has to be around 30 degrees here today and we have shot 1/2 of the required stages . We still have all day tomorrow left to shoot and then work the range all day Saturday.
Exciting, but very challenging stages . Especially the one where we had to shoot through a 12 x 12 port lying on the ground in the prone position at 3 paper targets at 50 meters away…. Yep 50 meters , I am not sure who this “Mike” guy is but I don’t like him .. Lol.
Here are a few pic’s of today’s events .
Thanks , John

This should be a great day ……correction this will be an awesome day!! 🙂

Good Day IPSC Members ,
The July 9th Match Scores have now been posted to the website under the Match Scores tab at the top of the main page .
Also , you will notice that there are some changes in the layout and look of the website . This is an upgrade was necessary to correct some of the issues that we were experiencing with the old site . The new modern theme will improve user functions for future use.
You will also see that some of the previous functions are not available yet and some of the page layouts and text are not lining up properly. This will all be corrected once the full upgrade is completed.
Thanks for your patience and understanding .
John

Hello IPSC Shooters,
This is a reminder about our IPSC Match on Saturday, July 9th 2016. As of today, the weather is showing Mainly Sunny, 15oC, light winds and minimal chance of any rain; a great day to be shooting! We have 6 challenging stages requiring 89 rounds. But don’t let the round count fool you – there is steel in four of the stages and a long stage has as much steel as paper targets. 😉
Bring your lunch and come on out to the range to help set up. We will be there around 8:30am to start setting up and first shots will go down range at 10am. We will be having a few random draws for prizes. Your name comes up – you choose the prize.
This year we have 9 shooters going to the Canadian Nationals in Halifax, NS. There are only a few more opportunities to get out and practice shooting some IPSC Stages so come on out. We look forward to seeing you at the range.
For anyone that has never shot, or seen, an IPSC Match – go for a drive, come out to the range and see what we are doing on Range ‘C’. We would love to introduce any new shooters to our Action Shooting sport. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me (709) 765-8991 or by email: sportnewf20@gmail.com
Hope to see you at the range.
