RAIN CANCELLATION – Steel Challenge for May 29th

Rain Cancellation today for the Steel Challenge shoot.  The weather isn’t going to be favourable at any point during set up or shooting.

Stay tuned for info about last weekends IPSC shooting.  We had numerous shooters complete the Black Badge Certification course and there were quite a few shooters that safely completed Level I and Level II matches this weekend to complete their Black Badge Certification.

See you at the Range!

Great week of shooting! Scores are posted.

As always, please share this post on your social media to promote our shooting sports.

Hello all,

The scores for our matches are available at the following link:

 IPSCNL and Steel Challenge Scores.

Practiscore is the full-function scoring system that we use for our matches.  Please go to PractiScore.com and create your own login and profile.  We will be switching to online registration over the season and certainly for our Provincial Match.  Online registration will have a reduced cost of registration and the ability to pay online.

Our 1st IPSC Match is in the books and we had our first Steel Challenge match last Tuesday evening.  Both were a success and we will be continuing with Steel Challenge each Tuesday evening (***WEATHER DEPENDENT – so subscribe to this page for updates or tell anyone that may be thinking about coming out to shoot to subscribe to the page for updates***).

If a match is cancelled it will post it on here, otherwise everything is proceeding as normal – this will then post to our FaceBook page and Twitter account.  If the weather is sketchy and you’re wondering about a match; be sure to check the ‘Latest News’ tab on the IPSCNL.ca website before you head to the range.

See you Tuesday evening.  Start at 6:00pm.  Cost is 5$ for Steel Challenge.

IPSC Matches and Steel Challenge Matches starting this week!

PLEASE SHARE THIS ON YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA!

Hello everyone,  just a quick reminder that we are starting our steel challenge matches tomorrow evening at Range C of the St. John’s Rod and Gun Club.  First shot is planned for 6:00 pm sharp.  The earlier you can get out – the better, we can always use a little help for the set up.  If you are one of the new folks that have expressed interest in coming out to shoot – just walk on up to whomever is there and introduce yourself.  You’re going to get a chance to meet everyone once we start shooting anyway.  😉  Cost of Steel Challenge is $5.

Our first IPSC Match of the season is this coming Saturday, May 12th.  Again, we are hoping to see lots of new faces that have completed the Black Badge Certification courses over the last month – come on out early to help set up and meet everyone.  First shot is planned for 10:00am and this is easy to do when we have a few hands out there to help build the stages.  I’ll be out there for 8:30am to get things rolling.  Cost of IPSC Matches is $10, payable at the Range before you shoot.

See ya at the Range!

Steel Challenge on August 1st – Let’s do this!

Hello folks, I’m glad to get back to the range after returning from the 2017 IPSC Canadian Nationals in Calgary, AB!  It was a great time but it’s always fun to get home and shoot with our regular group.

The Tuesday evening Steel Challenge will go ahead as planned and we will aim to start at 6:00pm.  I’m going to try and get out there for 5:30ish so drop out to lend a hand or pick out the stage you’d like to shoot!

$5 for the shoot and hope to see you there.
