UPDATE for the Steel Challenge Shooters!!!

Hello all,

Just a quick update to let everyone know that we are going to start the Steel Challenge shooting tomorrow evening (April 25th) at Range C of the SJRGC.  We want to have first shot at 6:00pm.  Sunset is just before 8:00pm.

This is open to anyone that is a St. John’s Rod & Gun Member.  Cost is $5 to shoot the 2 stages.  This just helps pay for the wear and tear on the equipment.

Tell your friends and come on out!

Steel Challenge Showdown Results from Sept 17th 2016

Hello fellow IPSC shooters, Attached are the results of the Steel Challenge Showdown that was conducted on Saturday, Sept 17th 2016 at the SJRGC. The weather was excellent and we had a great bunch of shooters.  We even had a ‘new, young shooter’ come by to see what we were doing and he got the chance to shoot some steel with a .22LR Smith and Wesson M&P.  He did very well and got a round of applause from all of our shooters.  He loved it! Reminder that we still have a couple more IPSC Matches left and we are hoping to get everyone out to finish the season strong! See you on Tuesday evening for another Steel Shoot.  6:00pm start but come early to help set up.  Remember – Many hands makes light work! Rick Crane steel-challenge-showdown-results-sept-17th-2016

Results for Steel Challenge on Aug 9th 2016

We had 7 folks show up but we put lots of lead downrange!  It was a great evening to shoot and everyone was relaxed and having fun. We shot Stage 1 (True Steel) a total of 5 times and dropped the highest time.  Stage 2 (Texas Star) was shot 3 times by everyone and all 3 times were used for the calculation. See results link at the end of the post. Looking forward to seeing you at the range again. Rick Crane Aug 9th 2016 Steel Challenge
